The Sacred Heart Foundation exists to provide opportunities for giving at Sacred Heart that will lead to a sustainable financial foundation for generations to come.
The Sacred Heart Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization.
Carl D. Adolphson (Executive Director) has been at Sacred Heart in a leadership role for a decade, one year as high school principal and nine years as school president. Under his leadership, enrollment in the school has grown and led to the need for more space and a seven-classroom addition to the school in 2019.
During his tenure as school president, Mr. Adolphson has made many improvements to both the school and to extracurricular activities. He was also integrally involved in the success of the New Day and Seize This Moment campaigns.

Denny DeMers (Transition Consultant) has a forty-four yea career as a teacher in East Grand Forks and as an administrator for the Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc. headquartered in Crookston, MN.
During his career, Mr. DeMers built a successful Head Start program with over eleven hundred employees providing services to thousands of children and families in thirty-two communities throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana and Michigan. He has extensive knowledge of local, regional, state and federal grant writing and grant management.
The last twenty-one years of his career as Chief Executive Officer at Tri-Valley provided Mr. DeMers a plethora of opportunities to help people and communities improve the quality of their lives. With these opportunities DeMers was active in the evolution and preparation of legislative efforts that were successfully implemented at the state and federal level.
Denny and his wife Linda (Stocker) live in East Grand Forks near their two children, ten grandchildren and large extended family.

Mark Brickson (Transition Consultant) has over 25 years of experience at the University of North Dakota serving as Director of Student Financial Aid and Director of Career Services at the UND Law School. For the past eight years Brickson has served as Director of Development at the UND Foundation and Alumni Association. He was instrumental in supporting the mission of the law school including the recent building construction and addition.
He started his career as a teacher in East Grand Forks after graduating from Moorhead State University. Later, he moved to the Area Vocational Technical Institute where he served for 12 years in Student Services and Financial Aid.
Mark and his wife Kathy (Kelleher) live in East Grand Forks. Their two children and two grandchildren reside in the Twin Cities area.
Together, the seasoned team of Denny DeMers and Mark Brickson, will develop a system of support that will carry the Sacred Heart parish and school into the twenty-second century.
