Sacred Heart Elementary, located on the lower level of the school campus, comprises grades Kindergarten through grade 6th.
In elementary, a young mind is like a sponge. We introduce our students to a myriad of learning experiences.
Sacred Heart’s dedicated teachers are trained in differentiated learning, meaning same-age students at different levels are taught in different ways. Students may not all get the same homework and additional staff beef up instruction for challenged students as well as advanced learners.
Fine Arts
Academics - Sacred Heart provides the same core academics you would expect from any school, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, etc. But it also offers the following additions.
Faith & Spiritual Development
At Sacred Heart, we teach Catholic doctrine, history, and tradition. The teaching of God, our faith, and Benedictine values is not relegated to just one class, but is woven into everything we do. Students attend weekly Mass and have the opportunity for praise and worship and daily prayer. We welcome families of ALL faiths and backgrounds. 20% of our student population is not Catholic.
Personalized Education Profiles for ALL 6th-12th Students
A collaborative team will work with all 6-12th grade parents and students to develop an educational profile that will foster potential and empower a lifelong learner. The PEP identifies the learning preferences, interests, skills, needs, and goals of the student, ensuring a rich and purposeful educational experience. It also helps prepare students for post-secondary education and/or various career paths.
