Q. Can you tell us about yourself and where you are from?
A. I was born and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota. I attended the University of North Dakota where I met my beautiful wife. We now have two children.
Q. Was there a moment when you decided to become a teacher?
A. I wanted to become a Catholic school teacher because of the Catholic education I received at the Catholic High School I attended. I really enjoyed the Catholic community that comes along with being a member of a Catholic school.
Q. What do you like most about teaching at Sacred Heart?
A. I enjoy the close community at Sacred Heart and how everyone is willing to step up to make our programs and events happen.
Q. What is your educational background?
A. I attended Catholic Elementary school and graduated from Dickinson Trinity High School. I then attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a teaching degree with a minor in Middle school education. I am currently taking online graduate school courses at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, CA.
Q. What interests do you pursue outside of the classroom?
A. When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling to places like Alaska, Rome, and spend a lot of time in western Montana. I also enjoy hunting/fishing and spending time outdoors. I am also an assistant football coach as well as an assistant girls basketball coach. I drive a bus for Sacred Heart. I also organize the Sacred Heart Rome pilgrimage trip.
