What are the early childhood programs?
Sacred Heart’s preschool programs, Little Angels (3 & 4 year olds) and Little Saints (4 & 5 year olds), are a wonderful extension of the school program with the purpose of preparing children for school in a safe, fun, and structured Catholic program open to students of all faiths!
The preschool is licensed by the State of Minnesota and meets state standards and regulations.
What is Little Angels?
Children must be a minimum of age three by Sept. 1st and fully potty trained. Class size is limited to 14 per section (2 teachers).
What is Little Saints?
Children must be a minimum of age four by Sept. 1st and fully potty trained. The class size is limited to 20 per section (2 teachers).
Does my child need to be Catholic?
No. This program is open to ALL religious faiths, but it is a Catholic preschool. Prayer is included and bible stories are read and discussed.
Is there transportation?
There is no busing available for the preschool programs.
Section preference and admissions
Enrollment for preschool and preferred sections are determined by the Child Care Director based on Sacred Heart's Admission Policy. Interested families are advised to fill out an interest form to receive a mailed application at the end of January.
