Children’s Liturgy of the Word Teenage Helpers: At the 8 and 10 a.m. Masses, children ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to participate in their own Liturgy of the Word. They leave after the opening prayer and return by the Offertory.
Confirmation Adult Facilitator:
Facilitators lead small group discussion during our alternating Confirmation class/Youth Group (IMPACT) at 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from December to April, and September to November. (The Confirmation Student Prep fee is waived if their parent becomes a facilitator.) (Grades 10th-11th):
Youth Retreat/Special Event Volunteer:
For the High School students, there will be several one day retreats, a three day retreat, special trips for both junior high and high school (Youth Rally, Skiing, Northern Air Family Fun Center), and two Junior High lock-ins this school year. Volunteers can choose as many or as few events they would like to be involved with.
St. Philomena Ministry:
We are looking for parishioners to offer regular prayer, fasting, sacrifice, sufferings, or mortifications for our youth’s deeper conversions and openness to their vocations.
